Summary:
Entry-level analyst position to assist the governance, risk, and compliance division in establishing and enforcing policy to secure NJ TRANSIT.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develops plans, procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Ensures corporate policies and standards are adhered to.
- Creates documentation required to satisfy regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Reviews of application requirements to ensure compliance and minimal risk.
- Assesses of vendors’ security posture and documents risk.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS, and HIPAA.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java would be a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and present technical information to a non-technical audience.
