Janitor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of 2 of our facilities in the Camden area.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Maintain and clean restrooms and common areas
• Perform floor care duties including buffing, waxing, and polishing
• Conduct custodial duties to ensure a tidy environment
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Handle residential painting tasks when required
• Execute commercial and industrial cleaning duties
• Act as a porter to keep entrances and exits clean and sanitized
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and break rooms as needed
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial or maintenance roles
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing
• Experience in residential painting is a plus
  
  

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

• Monday to Friday
