Full Stack Engineer | High Frequency Trading
A high-impact trading firm is expanding its UI Visualization team and looking for a Full Stack Engineer with deep experience in React and D3.js to build interactive, data-rich applications used by researchers and traders daily. This isn’t your typical dashboard dev job — we’re talking complex datasets, real-time rendering, and frontend systems that matter.
If you’ve worked in fintech, quant research, or any performance-critical space, you’ll recognize the bar — low latency, high fidelity, no fluff. Bonus points if you’ve touched Rust for backend or performance work.
What You’ll Be Building
- High-performance web apps using React, D3.js, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks
- Slick, interactive data visualizations that make large/complex datasets intuitive
- Scalable, secure APIs and backend services (Node.js, Rust, etc.)
- Tools that researchers and traders actually use — with real user feedback and impact
- Clean, maintainable, testable codebases in a fast-moving agile environment
What You Bring
- 3 years shipping modern web apps in React (Hooks, Redux, etc.)
- Strong D3.js skills (or similar) — can design and build from scratch
- Solid backend understanding: Node.js, REST/WebSockets, and DB integrations
- Bonus: Familiarity with Rust, functional programming, WebGL, or high-perf systems
- Comfort working close to the business, iterating quickly, and owning your stack
Salary : $300,000 - $500,000
