We are recruiting for an Individual Support Worker (DSP & Companions) in our Adult Community Support Services Program in Monmouth Junction, Edison, Woodbridge, and Scotch Plains.
Qualified candidates will identify various available services and develop support systems to meet client needs. You will be working one-on-one in the client's home.
As an Individual Support Worker for NJID you will be responsible for :
- Encourage healthy habits
- Accompanies clients to doctor's appointments
- Assists with meal preparation
- In some cases, assist with activities of daily living i.e. personal care
- Light housekeeping
- Assists with running errands
- Local recreational activities
The ideal candidate must possess :
NJID has full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties.
Location : Monmouth Junction, Edison, Woodbridge, & Scotch Plains
Hours Per Work Week : 20-30 hours
