Job Summary: NJR Group Inc. is seeking a General Laborer/Equipment Operator to join our Albemarle team. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation, such as grading, erosion control, trenching, and pipe laying.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks including grading, digging, building, and other construction-related activities.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and tools
- Maintain equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
- Some equipment operation may be necessary but not on a daily basis
Experience:
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Proficiency in various construction related tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge for maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Pipe laying experience is a plus
- Erosion control experience is a plus
