Role: Apigee Java Architect
Location: Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey city nj, Tampa FL
Duration: Long-term
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop REST APIs using Apigee Edge (API Gateway)
- 14 years of hands-on experience in Java (Spring Boot, RESTful APIs)
- Strong experience in Apigee Edge (Hybrid or Cloud)
- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and security best practices
- Experience with SOAP/REST Web Services and JSON/XML
- Develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks
- Implement API policies for security, traffic management, and transformation in Apigee
- Perform API proxy development, testing, and deployment
- Integrate with backend systems such as databases, third-party services, or internal services
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment automation
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments
- Document API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Collaborate with architects, QA, and product teams for end-to-end delivery
