Architectural Intern – Job Description
NK Architects is hiring candidates for entry-level architectural internship to join our integrated team of design professionals, on the job experience is not necessary though 3 years of architectural education recommended.
The architectural intern will assist senior staff with work in all phases of project development and will have an opportunity for training and mentorship.
This position can be in either the New Jersey Morristown office located at 95 Washington Street, Morristown NJ, 07960 or in the New York office located in the Woolworth, 233 Broadway Street or 13th Philadelphia, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting senior staff with all phases of project development
- Utilizing graphic skills in Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop
- Collaborative work with team members on design projects
- Presenting work internally, externally and meeting project deadlines
- Communicating with NK team members, clients, reps and consultants
Preferred Skills:
- Enrollment in IDP with NCARB
- Fluency in Autodesk Revit
- Graphic skills and software knowledge (e.g., SketchUp, InDesign, and Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
