ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
90% Travel, work weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Inspects jobs to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
Studies installation / maintenance and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet installation / maintenance schedules.
Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of work.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Ensure timely resolution of quality issues with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials for projects.
Confers with Manager to coordinate activities of assigned projects.
Maintains time and production records.
Performs activities of workers supervised such as installation / rigging, welding, electrical, forklift, scissor lift, JLG boom lift.
Handle spot shipments, special projects, and machine shipments for new and existing customers.
Educate associates to ensure common understanding of development requests, timeframes, and requirements.
Review and assist in the documentation of progress and implementation of countermeasures to ensure continuous program goals are achieved.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations, as well as, work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Average computer skills with some skills in Microsoft Office programs.
- Above average problem solving skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Above average on installation / rigging, welding, electrical, heavy industrial equipment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
