- Proficient in AutoCAD programs with the ability to draft and design layouts in CAD.
- Set up, adjust, and operate mills to perform precision machining operations.
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions and conducting sample runs.
- Maintain specifications by monitoring machine operations and speed rates.
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions, making necessary adjustments to controls.
- Stay updated on industry knowledge through educational opportunities and technical publications.
- Contribute to organizational goals by maintaining strong work habits.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to follow instructions and coordinate activities.
- Report any product or equipment abnormalities to supervisors immediately.
- Accurately input data into appropriate forms.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience with electrical control panels is a plus.
