POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Controls Quality Technician ensures the quality and functionality of electrical control systems by applying expertise in electrical drawings, control wiring theory, and troubleshooting. This role involves performing start-up and testing procedures, assisting with electrical engineering design, and maintaining quality control documents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, shop equipment, and strong attention to detail are key to success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Interpret and understand electrical drawings with a high level of proficiency.
- Apply advanced knowledge of electrical control wiring theory to design and troubleshooting tasks.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality assurance in all aspects of work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve input / output issues using effective diagnostic techniques.
- Perform startup and testing procedures to verify system functionality and performance.
- Assist in electrical engineering design tasks, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Operate all printers and shop equipment to support production and testing processes.
- Use Microsoft Office to create, manage, and communicate project documentation.
- Develop and maintain quality control documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure precision and quality in all tasks.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for others.
- Adhere to and enforce quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
