POSITION SUMMARY
As an Electrical Engineer at NKC of America, you'll be an integral part of a team that designs, develops, and improves electrical systems and components for our conveyor systems. Under general direction, the Electrical Engineer will conceptualize, construct, test, implement, and document control systems for various conveyor types, including Power and Free, Slat, Friction, and EMS systems.

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Electrical Engineer at NKC of America, you'll be an integral part of a team that designs, develops, and improves electrical systems and components for our conveyor systems. Under general direction, the Electrical Engineer will conceptualize, construct, test, implement, and document control systems for various conveyor types, including Power and Free, Slat, Friction, and EMS systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
- Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications.
- Willing to travel for site projects (25% travel required)
- BS degree in electrical engineering or related discipline (BSEE degree preferred)
- Programming Logic Controllers (PLC) (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer literacy
- Must be able to work extended hours when needed and be able to work at night or weekend shifts as needed.
- Experience with Automotive Conveyors Systems a Plus
- Fluency in Japanese is a plus
