Summary
SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Social worker provides patient/family interventions to support clinical, financial and compliance related outcomes in the hospital setting. The SW will work in coordination with the psychiatric physicians, nursing staff and case managers to assist with appropriate resources and facilitate appropriate discharge plans.
EXPERIENCE: Mental/Behavioral Health experience required. Minimum 2-3 years experience in hospital Social Work or related healthcare field
SPECIAL SKILLS: Computer proficiency
OTHER: Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and assessment skills. Knowledge of community resources and programs.
LICENSE/CERT: Preferred: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
EDUCATION: Required: Masters - Social Work (CSWE approved)
