ABOUT THE ROLE
DMAS - Systems Analyst
This position is for a Systems Analyst with expertise in healthcare claims processing. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of the data related to all functional areas of the MMIS or a similar large-scale claims system.
The candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and can interact with multiple technical and user groups successfully. Candidate will support ongoing Releases, Enhancements, and Production defect fixes. Strong experience with Data Conversion, mapping rules and validation, ETL design, and Programming logic is required.
Considerable experience with Mainframes, DB2, and Teradata is required.
Proficiency needed in coordination, direction, and procedures for all testing phases of a multi-vendor, large-scale software system
Responsible for all System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and open-ended testing (E2E) for the MMIS and MES modules, as well as the testing of configured Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications and the conversion and integration of data from other systems in Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES Modules and COTS products). Significant experience in managing defect triage calls with multiple vendors and promptly tracking the defects to closure is required.
Expected to have the ability to understand the requirements and design of the project and to develop test cases, test data, verify the software changes problem-solve escalated issues, and serve as a liaison between the developer and the Business User.
Responsible for communicating and reporting to various stakeholders about the results and progress of all UAT Testing, including Test Summary and Execution metrics.
Escalating and tracking UAT defects through the resolution.
Mainframe testing Experience is required
Track and maintain historical UAT Testing information.
Able to meet deadlines with high integrity, professionalism, customer service and motivation.
Significant experience in managing UAT, defect triage calls, and Coordination involving multiple systems / Vendors / Teams is required.
