NLMK USA is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in our Commercial Department for the Farrell, Pennsylvania location (NLMK Pennsylvania). We are dedicated to providing our employees with a safe, stable workplace where teamwork, attention to detail and quality customer service define our culture.
Job Responsibility: Responsible for handling frontline regional sales and marketing for the company.
Job Duties:
- Establish, develop and maintain sales relationship with current and prospective customer base within given territory.
- Develop annual forecast that supports corporate business plan.
- Identify new business opportunities in an attempt to expand the regional customer base.
- Prepare weekly sales report that provides management with market intelligence and various customer issues within the region.
- Coordinate regional sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service department in order to provide the best service to the customer base.
- Review profit metrics to maximize regional contribution margin.
- Refer claims and other technical service matters to appropriate parties at NLMK offices in Pennsylvania and Indiana
- Perform other related work, as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of proven successful sales within the steel industry
Preferred Skills:
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Build relationship, results driven, self-starter
Additional Notes:
- Must be willing to travel overnight a minimum of 20%
- Must be willing to work beyond normal business hours
