What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Trainee position at NLMK Pennsylvania LLC?
Job Summary: Responsible for completing comprehensive training program prior to becoming a Sales Representative.
The Sales Trainee position is primarily located in Northwest Indiana but will require the trainee to spend time at our Pennsylvania facility during their training period. This position will require travel and overnight stays up to 30% of the time and they will work beyond normal business hours to meet company and customer needs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop a high level/ expertise of understanding all products that NLMK USA produces
- Recognize the markets where NLMK participates
- Become knowledgeable of our competition, what they make and how to compete
- Grasp our pricing methodology
- Have an understanding and ability to identify quality issues and how they impact the customer
- Gain knowledge of NLMK USA’s costing structure throughout the various processes
- Learn our Oracle system as well as Customer Portal
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
- Self-started who is result driven.
