NL-24-061 GMM/HMI System Operator/Monitor

Ground-Based Interceptor Maintenance Manager (GMM) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems Operator/Monitor for the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program at Vandenberg SFB. Member of a small operations site team that provides 24/7/365 day a year support for VSFB Operations Support Center.
Participates in activities to plan and execute mission operations for command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. Configures operational systems and monitors system and subsystem performance. Develops and applies operational procedures, support requirements, checklists and tools required to control and operate systems. Assists in system maintenance activities. Investigates and analyzes maintenance requirements, questions and concerns. Works under general direction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• GMM/HMI Operator/Monitor maintains configuration control, and Monitors System Health and Status of the GMD system components supporting the Missile Defense Agency and Warfighter community.
• GMM/HMI Operator/Monitor works 24/7/365 on a rotational schedule with incentives for shifts and weekends. Overtime is a requirement for this position.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• This position requires an active Interim Secret U.S. Security Clearance. 
• Must have a current Security Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

This is a full-time position, located at Vandenberg SFB. Salary Range $110K-120K.
