Clinical NLP Specialist, Text Mining Software

Linguamatics is a leading provider of text mining solutions with a current emphasis on high value healthcare, biomedical and life science applications. Thanks to our world-class team, and innovative use of natural language processing (NLP) based technology, our software is acknowledged as a leading solution for complex medical and scientific data and has been adopted by many of the world’s leading healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations. We are now looking for a clinical NLP specialist to be located initially in the Bay Area to be embedded in one of the country’s leading healthcare organizations (following a training period at our offices in Westborough, MA).

Key tasks and responsibilities :

• Work on-site with our customer to develop NLP-based solutions that integrate with EHR data and support business and research workflows.
• Be an evangelist for Linguamatics’ healthcare solutions, proactively seeking to solve problems of value to the customer.
• Feed customer requirements back to the product development team and help test new software releases.
• Support the customer and ensure their success in using the product to gain maximum ROI.
• Develop compelling case studies showing how the software can be used to solve real-world problems in healthcare. There will also be opportunities to author papers for submission to scientific journals.
• Travel nationally and sometimes internationally to customer sites to present the Linguamatics solutions and provide training where appropriate.
