Your primary responsibilities will include developing, testing, validating, implementing, and fine-tuning cutting-edge AI / ML methods — e.g., Large Language Models (LLMs) — applied to diverse healthcare data sources from our partner health system EHRs. The role also requires the mentoring of a small team of junior AI data scientist(s) / engineer(s).
You and your team will compare AI / ML model performance using statistical metrics and demonstrate their effectiveness through rigorous statistical analysis and error estimation. You will collaborate in cross-functional teams to identify key areas where AI solutions can drive significant business benefits and reduce cost, all while maintaining the highest ethical standards in AI and ML. In your role, you will be directly involved in coding prototypes and building user-friendly analytics tools, as well as supporting the software development for high-performance AI / ML models. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects, stay at the forefront of AI technology, and make a meaningful impact on healthcare.
