Warehouse Technician
Shift: Monday - Friday 4am - 12:30pm = No Nights/No Weekends!
NLR is seeking reliable and responsible warehouse technicians for it's 1st shift to assist with warehouse responsibilities including, sorting, organizing and to assist with receipt, movement and processing of universal waste including light-bulbs, lighting ballasts, batteries and the by-products thereof.
Essential Functions include
- On time daily - no excuses!
- Assist in counting, weighing and recording materials as processed.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area by routinely sweeping, placing items in designated areas and continuously keeping the walking and working surfaces clean and clear of clutter and debris.
- Place wastes generated from processing in designated containers.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Focuses on minimizing conflict, listening, follow-up and a strong team player.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, pursues improvement opportunities, promotes quality in processes and services, applies feedback to improve performance and monitors own work to ensure quality.
- Safety/Security – Observes company policies and procedures.
- Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds promptly and appropriately to management directions, commits to additional work to achieve goals and objectives.
- Teamwork – balances team and individual responsibilities, exhibits objectivity and openness to other’s views, contributes to a positive team spirit, able to build morale and momentum toward team goals and objectives.
Experience
- High school diploma or G. E. D.
- Previous warehouse or industrial experience.
- Minimum of 3-years dispatching / logistics experience.
