Job Responsibilities:
- Acting under general direction, manage the operations of the fiscal department.
- Oversee moderately complex accounting and budgeting functions.
- Responsible for the fiscal management of the court/judicial entity.
- Train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate professional staff.
This role requires strong knowledge of public accounting and financial management techniques, computer financial systems, and governmental and general accounting principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a directly related field.
- Five years of experience in budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipting and control, auditing, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and procurement.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
