Responsibilities

- Conduct research data collection to assess community needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavior change and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Provide public speaking presentations on health topics to community groups and organizations.
- Assist individuals with navigating Medicare and other healthcare systems.
- Support individuals with disabilities in accessing appropriate health services and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and services provided.
Experience
- Three years experience in public health, social work, working with behavioral health population or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems is beneficial.
- Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those with disabilities or chronic health conditions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective education and advocacy efforts.
- A background in research data collection methods is an asset.
