Physical Therapist / Functional Restoration Program

Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Functional Restoration Program team. The ideal candidate will help individuals with chronic pain and physical limitations regain function, improve mobility, and enhance their overall quality of life. This is an onsite position in Sacramento, CA and is available to full-time or part-time schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including strength training, mobility exercises, and pain management techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address physical, emotional, and functional aspects of patient care.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, self-management strategies, and injury prevention.
- Track and document patient progress and outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Masters in Physical Therapy degree.
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in chronic pain management or functional restoration is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of responsible use of facility equipment, best practices for equipment use and preventative maintenance procedures.
- A strong sense of empathy, a compassionate outlook and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
