Accountabilities
- Lead and actively participate in the implementation and execution of clinical research, data quality, and other data operations projects from project planning through closure
- Point of escalation for project issues, provides a key role in problem solving, works with leadership to develop solutions, and responsible for issue resolution
- Tracks progress of projects and initiates appropriate actions to resolve barriers or promote successes
- Build relationships with internal and external project stakeholders for cross-team collaboration to ensure project success
- Develop presentations and present at conferences, webinars, or other venues
- Training and management of team members on all aspects of the project with support from the other functional groups and the Manager, Project Managers, as needed
- Track and report to CIBMTR leadership on compliance, trends, and study metrics
- May assists in the design and development of additional project related documents (Case Report Forms (CRFs), CRF guidelines/instructions, Data Management Plan, memos to sites, etc.).
- May conduct clinical data validation visits at member transplant centers, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:
- Advanced written, oral, and presentation communication skills
- Advanced Project Management, training, and conflict resolution skills
- Medical terminology and anatomy/physiology
- Data management
- Communicate clearly and effectively to staff and management through oral and written formats
- Strategize to optimize resources effectively to meet timelines and deadlines
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders, leaders, and team members both internal and external
- Exhibit independent problem solving and proven project management skills.
- Show strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
- Manage multiple tasks.
- Effectively interact with a variety of individuals.
- Work independently with minimal oversight as well as actively contribute to project teams.
- Provide strong teaching and mentoring skills
- Bachelor’s degree in scientific or health related field.
- 3 years of project management experience including at least three clinical data projects of increasing complexity.
- Master’s Degree in scientific or health-related field.
- ACRP or SOCRA certification
- Certificate of Clinical Data Management
- Clinical knowledge of cellular therapies and/or hematopoietic stem cell transplant
- Clinical knowledge of blood and tissue cancers; immune diseases
