What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at NN Acquisition LLC?
Lincoln Tech is seeking a Custodian/Housekeeper to perform duties such as cleaning buildings, offices, washing, waxing and buffing floors; polishing furniture and woodwork; cleaning lavatories and fixtures; sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming; emptying trash receptacles and garbage cans; assisting in snow removal; locking and unlocking doors; making general repairs of a simple nature.
Responsibilities of a Janitor
- Work independently without supervision, daily
- Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets and possess the ability to read, understand and request clarification concerning any SDS
- Lift heavy objects between 10-40 pounds
- Run small machinery, buffers, vacuums, floor cleaning machines, rug shampoo machines on a daily basis
- Maintain a stock room containing cleaning supplies, make out order slips when supplies run low, keep an accurate supply inventory
- Carry out work that is assigned via work orders in addition to the routine daily cleaning assignments\
- Ability to read and understand work assignments, schedules, and safety produces
- Familiar with emergency produces and assist staff in evacuating residents during emergencies
- Ability to carry out work assigned through a preventative maintenance program, daily, weekly, monthly, and annually
Requirements of a Janitor
- Customer service oriented
- Experience with floor care equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
