What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM Consultant position at NNE?
We are looking for a BIM Consultant to join our team of experts in end-to-end pharma engineering. As a team, we are working on shaping the future of sustainable and intelligent pharma facilities. Your role will be key in ensuring BIM models are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies, processes, and standards across all projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM across all disciplines (architecture, MEP, structure, facilities, etc.)
- Oversee the creation, management, and maintenance of BIM models and associated documentation.
- Ensure proper training and support for project teams in using BIM software and tools.
- Recommend upgrades or changes to enhance project efficiency based on BIM-related software and technology trends.
- Lead BIM execution planning, defining BIM goals strategies, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate and coordinate with existing 3D modeling BIM standards and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors regarding BIM deliverables and processes.
- Ensure project compliance in accordance to NNE’s quality management system, standards and methods as a basis for execution.
- Have solid customer orientation skills and take part in building customer relationships
- Show project and system leadership
- Have the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization both internally and externally
Required Qualifications:
To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- B.S. or M.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or similar role within the AEC (Architecture, Engineer-ing, Construction) industry.
- Strong working knowledge of BIM software and platforms (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, CAD, BIM 360/Vault, Plant 3D, etc.)
- Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (i.e. ISO 19650)
- Experience in project management, including coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- BIM certifications (i.e. Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
