Traveling Superintendents play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of NNI construction projects while maintaining and promoting the company mission.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adherence to:
- Project schedule as set-forth by NNI and the Project Manager
- Specifications provided by the Project Manager and Director of Construction
- Compliance with construction plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures
- Foster a positive and safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and audits
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Monitor and address safety concerns
- Maintain regular and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation
- Identify and address construction related challenges and obstacles proactively
- Collaborate with project team to develop innovative solutions and strategies to overcome difficulties and maintain project progress
- Completion of daily tasks:
- Coordination of all sub-contractors to ensure a smooth and evenly paced project
- Reports, progress photos, videos
- Initial resolution of disputes, poor workmanship, scheduling delays, etc.
- Effective and collaborative communication and coordination with the Project Manager

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL
- Responsible for supervision of all 16 trades
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years as Superintendent for a General Contractor in retail/commercial
- Minimum of 3 years commercial/retail construction
- Must have experience leading and managing a team of subcontractors and on-site personnel
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project objectives
- OSHA30: 1 year
