Job Description:
This is a role where you will play an integral part in supporting NNIT Inc, by assisting with the drafting, reviewing, and managing client contracts. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review client contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients as part of the contract management team.
- Review and provide recommendations for contract amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Maintain a system for contract files, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Research legal issues related to contracts and provide summaries and recommendations.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance.
- Provide general legal research and administrative support to the legal department.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a law school program (JD, LLB, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department (preferred but not required).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
