You will spend your days handling and caring for the dogs so it is essential to have a love for animals.
You'll report working over a variety of shifts to handle everything from walking dogs, giving them a potty break, feeding and administering medicines, cleaning their rooms, playing with dogs and even loving them as if they were your own. You will also be managing day camp yards for periods at a time through out your shift and watch the dogs play safely and keeping an eye on their behavios and well being. At the end of the day, your goal is to help our overnight and daily guests feel like this is their palace away from home. When working here, you may find yourself giving extra attention to a shy pup in need while also helping other dogs get back into their normal routine. It's important to document any observations and be ready to share with your manager and supervisors about what is going on with our guests. And of course, cleaning up after the dogs is a daily task. While the job is fun and rewarding, it's more than just playing with puppies all day. Expect to go home with some fur on you!
