What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Technician - Night Shift 7 to 9 pm start position at No Meat Factory Inc.?
General Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machines and work stations.
- Set up, take down and assemble production machine and equipment.
- Use cleaning chemicals, liquids and soaps to ensure cleanliness of equipment.
- Scrub and mop production floors and areas on a daily basis.
- Assist in internal and external audits as required.
- Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, and Operational procedures (SOPs) as defined in NMF’s Quality Management System.
- Ensure adherence to company policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing considered an asset.
- Minimum 1 year experience in sanitation, janitorial, custodian or relevant work.
- Work in coolers and walk-in freezers.
- Adaptable, resourceful and a willingness to learn.
Working Conditions
- Long periods of standing, sitting and bending required for the role.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Will be exposed to a noisy and wet environment with varying temperatures.
- Allergens present – e.g. soy, wheat, etc.
- Required to wear PPE such as safety boots, hair nets, lab coats and more.
- No jewelry allowed on the production floor.
Work Schedule:
- Shift start times vary from 6 pm to 9 pm start
- Requirement to work weekends, overtime and holidays.
- Schedules may vary from time-to-time to meet production operations.

Compensation range for this position in Stanwood, Washington: $20 per hour. The compensation depends on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off plan annually, personal medical and parental leave, paid holidays, and family care benefits.
