Job Function/Purpose
NOA Brands America, Inc., seeks an organized and self-motivated Sourcing Specialist to keep NOA at the forefront of the visual merchandising industry by finding innovative products that push NOA s capabilities and inspires creativity. As the Sourcing Specialist, you will be the point of contact for all the company s sourcing needs of raw materials and finished goods, as well as, looking for materials and vendors that fit within NOA Brand s vision for using sustainable materials that are visually appealing.
General Responsibilities
Sourcing & Project Management 80%
- Proactively present new materials that that are in line with company goals and vision
- Collaborate with the Development Team to source designed products or customer requests with new and existing vendors
- Create redundancies for finished goods and raw materials by thoroughly vetting new vendors
- Partner with Engineering to identify cost savings opportunities
- Identify and drive cost savings initiatives at all facilities
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to drive cost savings opportunities
- Keep detailed notes of meetings with other departments for reference and tracking progress on open projects.
Buying 20%
- Create PO s as required
- Manage PO s, including freight, until goods are confirmed for delivery
- Handle dynamic internal requests
- Daily communication with team members at all facilities
- Partner with the accounting team to resolve any purchasing related inquiries
- Assist with other tasks as required by the Supply Chain Department
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, or related field; equivalent related knowledge and experience will also be considered
- Minimum 4 yrs experience of buying/sourcing raw materials / components
- History of driving cost savings initiatives
- Experience importing materials from various countries into the USA
- Technical background to understand processes and document processes/improvements
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
- Experience with new product development and going from design to production
- Self-starter than can identify and investigate opportunities on their own
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with ERP systems
Bonus Points:
- Epicor ERP experience
- KPI/analysis experience
- Purchasing experience with China
- Purchasing experience with Mexico
- Understanding of import/export codes
- Bi-lingual Spanish

Pay Range: $60 70K Annually, DOE
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
