The Project Coordinator supports planning, execution, and tracking of both waterfall and agile projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure smooth project operations and effective communication across all stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining project goals, objectives, and scope in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Gather high level project requirements and assist with testing.
- Function as a Scrum Master or Product Owner, assisting in the development of software to support new functionality.
- Help create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines to track project progress.
- Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling meetings, managing resources, and ensuring necessary materials are available.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays as they arise.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including contracts, meeting notes, and progress reports.
- Track project budgets, ensuring expenses are within the allocated limits and processing invoices as needed.
- Support the project manager in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential project risks.
- Prepare and distribute project updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in organizing project-related meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative office tasks such as placing orders, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- An interest in supporting software development via Agile methodologies.
- Experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar administrative or support role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
