What are the responsibilities and job description for the CFO/Head of Finance position at Noah Medical?
Oversee Noah’s financial activities, including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financing, audit, tax, treasury, Investor Relations, purchasing and insurance activities. Guide Noah's financial strategy, planning, and maintain our fiscal health, and serve in a strategic partner role for the CEO and C-suite peers.
A Day In The Life Of Our CFO/Head of Finance:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's vision and fundraising plans.
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-term financial planning processes including projected financial statements.
- Evaluate capital allocation strategies and optimize financial resources to align with the company's strategic advantages and priorities.
- Build and mentor a global high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and honesty, and continuous learning and improvement.
- Lead by example and set high ethical standards.
- Collaborate with the CEO and manage investor relations and communication efforts. Facilitate the due diligence process and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare projected financial statements and valuation model with scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with legal and accounting teams to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and requirements.
- Lead the team to prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Provide insightful financial analysis based on internal and external data and reports to support decision-making and ensure resource optimization to maximize ROI
- Monitor key financial metrics to track performance.
- Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards by implementing robust internal controls and financial policies.
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the company, and ensure the records exist to enable the company to pass independent and governmental audits.
- Manage the company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
- Evaluate financing options and negotiate debt and equity transactions.
- Optimize the capital structure to support growth.
About You:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Demonstrated success in international business expansion and all related tax management.
- Demonstrated success in leading a commercial organization through its fast growth stage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a finance and accounting team.
- Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally, including with stakeholders across legal, clinical, regulatory, commercial, product, engineering and marketing disciplines.
- Proven experience in successfully guiding a company through private and public financing processes. Experience in M&A and IR communications.
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, make decisions, solve problems, and operate under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
