A Day in The Life Of Our Sr. Product Quality Engineer - Imaging
- Understand the full chain of the Galaxy imaging sub-system
- Strong troubleshooting ability with some fundamental understanding of image processing software.
- Respond to field issues and perform root cause investigation
- Develop automated tests to analyze the quality of Galaxy imaging subsystem in both engineering tests and real-life clinical data
- Contribute to product development and maintain documentation
- Strong scientific documentation skills, and ability to support hypotheses in a data-driven environment.
- Preferred: Experience with endoscopy imaging systems.
About You
- B.S. or higher in Optics, Data Science, Robotics or related Engineering disciplines.
- 5 years of experience in a related role - troubleshooting imaging systems in a regulated industry.
- Understanding of image processing and terminologies
- Proficient with a scripting language (Python strongly preferred)
- Enjoys putting the puzzle pieces together to figure out how things work and fail. Good problem solver.
- Comprehension of clinical context and use of medical devices
- Experience analyzing system performance data and effectively communicating results to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Able to work independently, and the determination to get through challenging problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment.
- Demonstrated basic project management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and to contribute to state of the art technology
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge and experience working with medical/clinical image quality assessment
- Experience with X-ray imaging and C-Arm strongly preferred
- Basic software engineering understanding
- C experience (nice to have)
