Noah Medical’s Research and Development (R&D) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, and on-time.

Noah Medical R&D team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. R&D also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even field reliability.

A Day In The Life Of Our System Software Engineer Intern:
- Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a start-up environment with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Contribute to the design and development process of software for a robotic platform and its subsystems.
- Understand requirements and specifications in order to write quality software and software unit tests that verify these requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot and seek to understand technical issues as they arise in the software development process, and communicate these issues and potential solutions with the system software engineering team.
About You:
- Recent graduate with a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field OR in the final year of a BS degree in above listed fields
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with preference for C\C \C# or Python.
- Understanding of the basic principles of software design, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with software development tools like source control (git) and IDEs.
- Self-motivated individual that works well in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
- Fast learner willing to gain exposure to multiple new systems, software tools, and technologies.
