Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00a – 4:30p No Remote Work
Starting Wage: $26 / hour
Overview:
Nob Hill Water Association has an opportunity for a growing professional to join our water system! We are looking for an individual to grow and assist Nob Hill Water’s engineering department. The Water Engineer Technician will work with the Water System Engineer to complete a wide variety of engineering-related tasks. Nob Hill Water performs a substantial amount of ‘in-house’ construction projects compared to other water systems. Because of this, there is a sizable amount of engineering work to be completed. As the Association’s water system grows, there becomes increased demand on the Engineering Department to keep up with changing standards and programs, planning, designing, oversight, and overall maintenance. Work will be performed 85% of the time in the office, and 15% outside. No extensive manual labor is required, but the position should be able to handle hot and cold weather and safely maneuver around construction sites.
Minimum Requirements:
Any type of college degree (STEM field preferred)
Above average knowledge/skills with a computer (Excel, Word, OneDrive, Share Point, similar programs). Ability to learn AutoCAD.
Ability to pass a drug test and adhere to our drug and alcohol policy: pre-employment and random
Valid Washington State Driver’s License
Cleaning driving record over the last three years; no DUI, no reckless driving, less than three tickets
