Position Summary:
As a Regional Director of Quality, you will work under the direction of the Corporate Director of Quality and be part of the Nobis Compliance and Quality team with an objective to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the patient's served by the organization. The Regional Director of Quality is responsible for advancing quality and patient safety by supporting, educating, auditing, and assisting various hospitals in their process improvement, patient safety, infection control, regulatory readiness, and outcomes management to meet key hospital and organizational goals. The position ensures the organization is in a "continuous readiness" state for accreditation surveys, timely public reporting of quality, safety, infection control and patient satisfaction data as required by federal and/or state requirements. Travel will be required for this position but will fluctuate based on hospital survey timelines, new hospital openings, and orientation needs of new hospital employees. On average travel should not exceed 25-30%.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in regulatory visits and the development of corrective action plan submissions (related to quality, performance improvement and infection prevention) for CIHQ, CMS, State, and other regulatory/accrediting bodies.
- Supports Hospital DQM's through monitoring the ongoing process of regulatory accreditation and ensuring hospitals are in a constant state of readiness, are compliant with standards and promoting a culture of safety.
- Assists in the development and facilitation of orientation programs for new DQM's hired at the hospital level.
- Leverage the hospitals analytic environment to help guide data-driven decision making and inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis/investigations to resolve complaints, discrepancies, nonconformances or other concerns with corrective actions that are efficient, impactful and sustainable.
- Collaborate with hospital DQMs to harmonize best practices across the organization as applicable.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to complex situations.
- Practice mutual respect and communication regularly with team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 6 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a quality assurance role.
- Must have 3 years of experience working in a regional multi-facility type role.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in post-acute setting.
- Successful track record of quality management and execution with demonstrated sustainable performance.
- Registered Nurse with State Licensure.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience in facilitating infection control programs, certification or working toward certification preferred.
- Experience with CIHQ survey process a plus. Must be well organized, disciplined, and self-motivated, able to balance multiple priorities in a very high-paced environment. Metrics-driven, able to define problems, collect data, and establish strategies for improvement.
