Supervisor, Anodize (AMP)

Supervise the proper operation of a department

• PRINCIPAL DUTIES / KEY RESULTS REQUIRED :
• Supervise all personnel in the department.Ensure employees and dept are safe and working in a safe manner.
• Assist HR and Employees with Payroll related forms and or questions.
• Ensure that all equipment is working properly.
• Ensure that orders are process to specification.
• Maintain high standards of quality.
• Ensure that orders are process to AMP procedures.
• Maintain logs, keeping them current and up-to-date.
• Ensure that parts are not processed unless tank temperatures are within the proper range.
• Ensure that all processing and inspection equipment has up to date calibration.
• Ensure that all calibration stickers and 'reference only' markings are clearly legible.
• Ensure that all process information is filled out with size or N / A when applicable.
• Ensure that all the information regarding amperage, square inches, surface area, amps used and batch information are documented where applicable.
• Keep shop traveler or 'in process sheet' with jobs at all times.
• Issue hold card when job goes on hold.
• All equipment in the department is functioning properly.
• Notify the maintenance team immediately when equipment problems occur. Use LOTO protocol.
• Verify that all prior departments have inspection and production buy off's.
• All tanks are properly labeled and the signs are legible.
• Place a 'not in use' sign on any and all non-conforming tank or piece of equipment.
• Ensure that test panel inventory is maintained and that they are clearly labeled and separated by material type.
• Ensure that all raw test panels meet quality requirements.
• Interface with customer service, quality control, pricing, and upper management.
• Review and turn in time clock reports by 9 : 00 am.
• Verify quantity of parts for each job received in department.
• Ability to perform all duties of Processor, Racker, Packer and Masker
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• WILL ACT AS BACK UP FOR THE FOLLOWING :

Everyone in department.

• SUPERVISION OF OTHERS :

All personnel attached to their department.

• POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

Complete knowledge of all processes within department. Ability to access AMP procedures in departmental computers. Ability to read blueprints. Must be able to work around chemicals. Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English / Spanish fluently. Ability to follow instructions. Good Vision. Have knowledge of safety laws and issues.
