Our skilled nursing facility, located in Stokton,CA has developed a program that caters to our current and future residents respiratory and cardiac needs by strengthening their bodies that have been debilitated by the heaviness of the pandemic. Policies and processes have been created so we can have a proactive focus on bettering the lives we serve. The ideal candidate for this position will be a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of California ,with a love of servant leadership. Alongside the Director of Nursing, Infection Preventionist, and support staff, the Respiratory Therapist will aggregate and analyze data regarding resident participation, review evaluation of their clinical partners for qualitative and quantitative information, collaborate with the IDT, practioners, residents and family members and execute treatments and interventions as necessary to create an atmosphere of health and wellbeing establishing tangible goals and tracking the progress of those we steward!

Principle responsibilities :
- Assess patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, and provide care and treatment.
- Deve lop treatment plans in consultation with physicians, and administer treatments such as aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and inhalants. They may also perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Monitor patients' progress, physiological responses to therapy, and vital signs
- E ducate patients and their families about lung diseases and breathing disorders, and how to take medications and use equipment.
- M anage and operate equipment, such as mechanical ventilators, and may service and maintain them.
- W ork closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and medical assistants, to manage patient care
- Document care by updating charts and records
