Noble Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team in our corporate office in Houston, TX. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing data science products, leveraging your expertise in machine learning, generative AI, cloud computing, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with cross functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, business analysts, and product managers, to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive data-centric decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for building on our existing portfolio, with a focus on operational data and sensor data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities :

  • Collect, cleanse, and preprocess raw data from different sources to deliver accurate and consistent datasets for analysis.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data science solutions using machine learning and generative AI technologies in cloud compute platforms.
  • Develop and engineer relevant features to improve the performance and predictive accuracy of regression and classification models.
  • Analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and relationships using statistical techniques such as descriptive and inferential statistics, analysis of variance, time series analysis and others.
  • Build on our existing portfolio and contribute to the growth and improvement of our data science offerings.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them into data-driven solutions in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Produce chart, reports, sensor data, with a particular focus on time series data.
  • Apply your skills as both a data scientist and a data engineer, building solutions with operational data as the primary focus.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends : Keep up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis. Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge to drive innovation within the team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience developing data science products, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of various machine learning technologies, and the ability to select and implement the most appropriate techniques for specific tasks.
  • Proficiency using programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and using languages for database creation and manipulation such as SQL, MySQL, or KQL.
  • Proficiency in cloud compute platforms, preferably Azure, and the ability to leverage their capabilities effectively.
  • Experience in analyzing and visualizing sensor data, particularly long time series data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively and communicate complex concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD processes and a desire to implement efficient and iterative development practices.
  • Experience with containerized applications, such as Docker, and knowledge of deployment processes
