What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rig Administrator position at Noble Drilling Services Inc.?
Provides administrative support under the direction and supervision of the OIM. Operates and maintains the rig’s communication systems and assists with STS and general clerical duties. Implements and upholds safety and environmental compliance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of offshore drilling industry experience.
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Familiar with appropriate computer software, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) in addition to experience with IFS.
- Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work at a high pace with minimal supervision
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate crew changes
- Maintain POB list and crew roster
- Maintain the radio log, keeping account of telephone calls
- Provide office and clerical assistance to Section Leaders / OIM in day-to-day routines
- Prepare manifest for boats and helicopters
- Attend safety meetings
- Prepare reports & documentation for NDOR
- Assist STS
- Weekly payroll, training pay, expense reports & time sheets
- Maintain contact list & hurricane sheets
- Arrange flights which are not arranged/paid for by client
- Track short service employees
- POC for rig personnel regarding schedule of training and travel
- POC/liaison with corporate HR payroll, travel and benefits
- Other duties as assigned
