Noble Environmental Specialty Recycling is seeking a talented Hazardous Waste Supervisor to join our growing team in the Pittsburgh region. The Hazardous Waste Supervisor is a leader responsible for daily hazardous waste operations. A successful supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance and safe handling, packaging, storage, and delivery of hazardous waste materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs inspections of staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance
- Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for efficient and compliant disposal
- Performs chemical pour off, bulking / consolidation
- Overall quality control of waste materials being stored and shipped
- Loads and / or unloads drums and containers from trucks, processes and stores hazardous waste materials
- Weighs and breaks down large containers into small containers
- Drives forklift to retrieve drums and containers from storage
- Completing required manifests and tracking paperwork
- Completes waste stream sampling and profiling
- Interact with disposal facilities for scheduling and paperwork
- Labeling and record keeping
