Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting electronics and household chemicals from various locations, ensuring safe handling and transportation of materials, and maintaining excellent customer service. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collect electronics and household chemicals from each stop pursuant to the specific contracts or levels of service within the serviced area.
• Safely manually manipulate carts, bags, drums, cubic yard boxes, and other types of containers.
• Safely haul, lift, and load items and materials into the truck.
• Properly categorize and sort various types of chemicals and electronic devices.
• Assist the driver in backing situations to help guide and ensure safety while backing.
• Maintain a courteous and cordial manner with all customers encountered on the route.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must pass a physical exam and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, lift/carry required.
• The ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. is required.
• This job is performed in and out of the truck. Employees are subject to weather elements daily, i.e., heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc.

Work Environment:

• This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• You will be required to wear appropriate safety gear and follow safety protocols at all times.
