Temporary Front Desk Support
Location: Beaufort, SC
Hourly Rate: $15/hr
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Centralize scheduling for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.
- Make reminder calls to clients.
- Process intakes and answer phones, directing calls as needed.
- Distribute mail, faxes, and all client correspondence.
- Create and mail client correspondence.
- Maintain office equipment and inventory.
- Distribute compassionate medication and maintain medication logs.
- Update client insurance information annually and ensure annual electronic signatures are captured.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual client financial reviews.
- Batch and route all accounts receivables.
- Update daily cash log and perform daily deposit transactions.
- Import documents into EMR and update CIS.
- Complete all ticket corrections, charges, and paybacks.
- Maintain and post financial data to ledgers and assist with collections.
- Encourage clients to make payments on account.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Ensure all documentation is provided at initial appointments.
- Maintain client records and ensure compliance with Medicaid/Medicare, QA, CARF, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Manage all information in EMR and CIS.
- Fill in for other support staff during lunch breaks or leave.
Other Duties: As requested by leadership.
