As the Area Director of Revenue Management, you will work with the Leadership Teams to optimize the Resort’s top line revenue and implement successful strategies to make things better. This role will monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective selling through inventory management, market mix and pricing. Communicating demand patterns to the team and assisting with forecasting and setting strategies to increase market share. As a DORM, you will actively participate in the financial success of the resort, through participation in the annual budgeting, and the sales and marketing plan.

As the Area Director of Revenue Management, you will work with the Leadership Teams to optimize the Resort’s top line revenue and implement successful strategies to make things better. As a DORM, you will actively participate in the financial success of the resort, through participation in the annual budgeting, and the sales and marketing plan.
Responsibilities:
- Update and manage selling strategies, and product information in all available distribution channels and reservation sources.
- Optimize Total RevPAR by analyzing and forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and optimal market mix. Establish pricing recommendations for food and beverage outlets, banquets, and club membership pricing.
- Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analysis to ensure proper rate/price positioning and product offering relative to competition. Actively be a part of the pricing conversation.
- Collaborate with the Area Director of Sales and Marketing for management and strategy for reservations and sales.
- Facilitate Daily and Weekly, and Sales Revenue Strategy meetings.
- Actively be a part of the business planning for revenue generating departments.
- Generate and distribute revenue management reports and present results to the Team.
- Knowledge of resort operations, including marketing plans, business plans, budget forecasting, hospitality law and long-range planning.
- Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment and have a strong attention to due dates, and detail.

Requirements

- A minimum of two years revenue management experience in hospitality in a hotel/resort setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration, Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or relevant field of work preferred
- In-depth understanding statistical methods for analyzing data.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and have a strong attention to due dates, and detail.
