Event Staff

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for events management.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are clean and organized.
• Provide exceptional guest services by greeting attendees, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Manage food service operations, including serving food and beverages and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently during events.
• Support event coordinators with various tasks, including crowd management and conflict resolution.
• Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the event schedule and activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially in roles such as lifeguarding or overseeing activities that require safety measures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in theater, hospitality, or guest services is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; public speaking experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
• A background in events management would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
