We are a leader in the gaming industry and have been growing steadily over the years. We are in a new 45,000 square foot facility and expanding in Fitchburg, WI. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our management team.
Job Description:
The Store Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the retail store. They are the primary contact for answering questions, as well as retraining and conducting additional training as needed for their team. They are also responsible for managing the performance of their team and, where necessary, making recommendations relating to the hiring, firing and discipline of team members. This position directly reports to the Store Manager. The Store Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the retail store in conjunction with the store manager. They focus on maintaining and increasing quality and consistency.
Ideal candidates will be:
- Ability to lead people and manage tasks.
- Self-Motivated
- Experience with tabletop gaming is a plus which could include:
- Board Games
- Miniatures Games
- Roleplaying Games
- CCGs
- Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to search for answers when they are not readily available. Ability to solve problems with general direction.
- Excellent Communications skills – both verbal and written
- Outgoing personality with ability to make fellow employees and customers comfortable.
- Computer savvy – excellent typing skills, excel, word and outlook experience and able to adapt quickly to new computer systems and processes.
- Trustworthy and comfortable working in a warehouse, store-front and office space while handling multiple tasks at a time.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
Desired Experience:
- Prior Leadership, supervisor, or management experience
- Knowledge of leadership traits/skills
- Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
- Experience working in a retail environment

Some specific Job Duties:
- Leading and managing retail operations
- Managing each individual team member by, among other things:
- Setting daily expectations.
- Ensuring individuals meet daily expectations.
- Managing overtime as required.
- Providing feedback for each team member in a constructive and positive manner.
- Managing a retail schedule for full-time and part-time staff
- Evaluating and recommending recognition/promotion of individual team members.
- Problem solving the best ways to accomplish the current workload.
- Providing constructive input about Company policies and procedures.
- Participating and making recommendations with respect to the hiring process and as necessary, discipline and/or termination of team members if required.
- Managing attendance for their team.
- Collaborate with other management members.
- Communicate effectively and provide regular updates to the Warehouse Manager as well as other members of the management team
- Other duties as assigned
