- I Job Description:
The maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime by quick in-depth troubleshooting abilities and a world class preventative maintenance program. The desirable candidate must be able to work with others in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic with a high attention to detail, and a get it done attitude. Uses the company’s ERP system to setup, manage, and maintain the maintenance schedule of injection molding machinery and equipment.
- II. Required Skills:
- 5 years’ experience, to include but not limited to, in the following fields of maintenance: Aviation, Automotive Service Technician, HAVAC, Factory or Facility Maintenance
- Preferred: Technical certification and/or associates degree related to an industrial related field
- Must be able to read and decipher electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Preferred: Supervisory or scheduling background
- III. Essential Functions:
- Maintenance of plastic injection molding machinery.
- Repair auxiliary equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility as required.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Maintain industrial control system.
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
- Facilities and building maintenance.
- Create report(s) for repairs by the end of shift. Complete required paperwork, document parts and material usage.
- Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices, machine, and forklift operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
- Installation of New Equipment
- Retrofit/Upgrade of Existing Equipment
- Basic Machining Skills
- Source parts and build necessary spare parts strategy and inventory for limited down time.

- IV. Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and random drug testing
- Must sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement
- Capable of standing/walking for entire shift and must have visual and auditory capability in an industrial setting
- US Citizenship is required, and must be English fluent in reading and writing
- Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
