Job Role
We are on the lookout for a Preventative Maintenance Specialist to oversee routine inspections, preventive care, and repairs to essential tooling equipment. This role involves meticulous record-keeping of tool status, periodic maintenance interventions, and tool locations. The candidate will ensure that assets are production-ready by regularly coordinating with the Production Assistant to understand scheduling priorities. Analyzing and managing MRO data using ERP is a key requirement.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform removal and installation of injection molds
- Service preparation for tooling equipment
- Accurately document any repairs or changes in molds
- Systematically troubleshoot any mechanical issues with presses and auxiliary equipment
- Uphold a well-maintained tool arsenal for repairs and mechanical sustenance
- Communicate effectively with production to align on daily requirements and make necessary schedule adjustments
- Execute press program loading and initiate production runs seamlessly
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by the management team
Essential Employment Requirements
- Needs to be a US Citizen
- Background Check/Drug Testing Disclaimer: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Agreement to a confidentiality/non-compete clause required
- Expertise in Microsoft Software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Preferred experience with ERP software
- Physically capable of sustained standing/walking periods and lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English
- Functional visual and auditory capacity in an industrial environment required
Preferred Qualifications
- Outstanding print reading capability
- Skilled in hand tools, measurement instruments, with supplementary mechanical and mathematical acumen
- Proficient understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing protocols
- Certification or degree in Industrial Technology or Auto Mechanics (2-year or 4-year)
