## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and comfort of all animals in our care.
## Duties
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas. Including outdoor play yards.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
- Safely and accurately move dogs to their outdoor play yards
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities
## Qualifications
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work with various breeds of dogs
- Ability to work in a group setting as well as independently
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to animal care including walking and standing on concrete, bending, and squatting.
- Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus
- Experience in pet sitting or pet care is beneficial. - This position includes indoor and outdoor duties year around. - Drug free. - Must be 18
