Roles and Responsibilities
Data Center Operations:
- Update DC Sheet/Inventory and maintain the DC Portal.
- Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems.
- Perform server firmware, BIOS, and driver updates.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues in coordination with vendors and share logs for resolution.
- Escort vendors in the Data Center (DC) and MUX Room for hardware issue resolution and inspections.
- Manage hardware parts, including receiving and returning components.
- Perform server and rack movement, mounting, and device labeling.
- Maintain the DC store for server parts.
Vendor and Team Coordination:
- Coordinate with network, VM, storage, backup, and Unix teams.
- Facilitate vendor interactions, including gate pass preparation and logistics coordination.
- Coordinate material inspections with customs and logistics teams.
Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor and maintain power and cooling systems in the DC.
- Install and configure ATS and PDU systems.
- Clean and maintain DC and MUX rooms.
Backup and Storage:
- Provide recording backups as per administrative requests.
- Manage tape movement to fire-proof safes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain authorization sheets (DC, MUX, Fire-Proof Safe).
- Generate periodic reports and updates for stakeholders.
Compliance and Audit:
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and CoE processes.
- Prepare audit findings reports and support action plan execution to close non-compliance issues.
- Track lateral hiring metrics and compile data for monthly/quarterly updates.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of server hardware, OS installations, and configurations.
- Familiarity with ATS, PDU installation, and power/cooling system management.
- Knowledge of Data Center best practices and operations.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a polite and efficient approach.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude.

- Prior experience in Data Center operations or similar roles.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Timely execution of Data Center operations and maintenance tasks.
- Accurate and up-to-date reporting for stakeholders.
- Consistent adherence to compliance standards and audit requirements.
- High levels of customer satisfaction through efficient issue resolution and support.
